Wolves Over Huskies

In an unexpected turn around, King beat the Huskies from North at a very wet game at Sippy. During the constant downpour, Jordan McMorris lead the team with six goals and Levi Eastwood, Matt Van Gorder, and Adrian Parra each added two each in a real team effort. The team scored the first goal of the game and the last three goals of the game and never trailed after a 1-1 tie early in the first quarter. Brad Cullen had a great game in the goal with six blocks. The win takes the Wolves record to 2-1 in league and 8-7 overall.

Boys Win Second League Game

The Wolves got their first league win with a 9-4 score over La Sierra. Jordan McMorris lead the team with seven goals and Brad Cullen had 12 saves. The win brings King's league record to 1-1 and 7-6 overall.

King Wins Final Poly Tournament Game in Over Time

After battling back from a three goal deficit, the Wolves won the game on a goal by Jordan McMorris 22 seconds into the sudden death overtime. The win brought King's tournament record to 3-2 and 3-3 overall.

Wolves Go 1-1 on First Day of Poly Tournament

The Wolves opened the tournament with a 14-0 shut out of Colony High School. Chris Chitwood got the shutout. The second game of the day saw King repeat their game against San Bernardino, unfortunately with the same result as the first game.

Season Opener Not as Successful As Hoped

Playing at San Bernardino, the Wolves played well for their first game, but were unable to go home with a win. In a high scoring game, the Cardinals beat King 19-15. The Wolves kept the game close, but were unable to make the adjustments needed to win. The Wolves were lead by Matt Van Gorder, who scored five goals and Jordan McMorris, with four goals.

Season Opens With a Great First Practice

The boys opened the season after waiting more than a week for a pool to become available. The team had great attendance and most of the players were in good shape. They are looking forward to their first game.
