Slow Start At La Sierra

After three quarters of uninspired play the Wolves stepped up a level to end the game with a seven to one fourth quarter. Becca Lisonbee had one goal during the game, Katie Johnson scored two, Abby York and Stephanie Glendenning each scored three. While Christin Boebinger scored five, outscoring the Eagles by herself. JV's Start Strong, Finish Strong

After watching the varsity start slow, the JV team started with a three to nothing first quarter and a five to one second quarter to beat the Eagles nine to one. Kaitlyn Stark scored her first goal of the season, Emily Neumann had two, Lauren Boebinger three, and Meghan Richli a game high four.

After establishing a lead on goals by Abby York, Christin Boebinger, and Stephanie Glendenning. Rookie Lauren Boebinger, Erica Nelson, and Dayna Van Gorder (who also played in the goal) each scored one goal apiece. Emily Neumann had four steals and Katie Johnson, while setting 2m, had five. JV Rookies Compete Well Against Eagles

They started out strong with goals by Meghan Richli and Stephanie Ybarra, but then the offensive effort grewMeghan shoots.JPG (59143 bytes)Stephanie Ybarra under pressure.JPG (55899 bytes) tired and was shut down by the Eagles. Meanwhile, La Sierra began to gain momentum on offense and finished the game with a 2-9 win over the Wolves. Tiffany Couch actually made the game much closer than it seemed with some incredible saves for the Wolves.
