Swimming NewsGirls Varsity Beat Los Osos and Colony in Tri-meetTraveling for 45 minutes to Los Osos with the expectation of swimming against Los Osos, the Wolves were surprised to find that TWO schools were waiting from them. Host school Los Osos and visiting school Colony from Chino were both on the pool deck. After straightening everything out, the team swam in a tri-meet. Lead by captains Roxanne Eastwood, who won her 200 freestyle, and Kylie Gahre, who won the backstroke, the team went into the final relay in securely in second place, behind Los Osos by nine points. But the A Relay team of Melissa Zaragoza, Rylee Scheid, Candyce Meeks, and Brittany Parrish placed first and the B Relay of Lauren Ramirez, Jennifer Brown, Madeline Anich, and Jenny Holderman placed third to clinch the 218-211 victory over Los Osos. Great Job Wolves!!!! Swim Season StartsThe swim season opened on Tuesday, February 15 at Sippy Woodhead Pool. The athletes were excited to get started and are looking forward to the first meet.
