BOYS' WATER POLOBoys' Water Polo Banquet11/30/07 - The Boys' Water Polo team held their season ending banquet at the Canyon Crest Country Club last night. The team celebrated their successful season with style. Gifts and awards were given out. The Wolves Award went to Kyle Van Meter. Mr. Defense was given to Kenneth Appel. Mr. Offense went to Levi Eastwood. And Adrian Parra recieved MVP.
King Plays ToughThe Wolves lost their first round game against the Spartans of Villa Park 9-15. In what could arguably be called their best game of the season, the Wolves took on the number one seed of the CIF tournament. While they lost the game, they played hard. Levi Eastwood lead the team with four goals. Wolves Draw Top Seed in the First Round of CIFKing will take on the Spartans of Villa Park in the first round of CIF. The game will be played at Villa Park on Thursday, 11/18. Boys Place ThirdThe Wolves beat JW North at Cal Baptist 13-3 to place third in the Ivy League. Game Make-Ups That Were Cancelled Due to Poor Air Quality10/29/07 - Due to the fires and poor air quality, the games previously scheduled will be played on Wednesday, 10/31/07 at King. The Wolves will take on the Lions from Arlington at 3:00pm and then at about 5:00pm, they will engage the Ramona Rams. Come out and support your team as they finish their season. Wolves Win at Cajon10/19/07 - After a disappointing loss to Arlington to end their first round of Ivy League play, the Wolves traveled to Cajon and won 12 -11. King opens their second round of league play hosting Ramona next Friday. Wolves Fall to Poly10/16/07 - King lost their first league game in a 4-13 loss to Poly. The loss brings their record to 3-1 in league and 14-8 overall. King Continues League Roll with Win Over Huskies10/11/07 - King continued their league success with a 9-8 win over the Huskies from North High School. Lead by Levi Eastwood with five goals and Kenneth Appel with ten saves the Wolves came back from a 7-8 deficit at the beginning of the fourth quarter to win the game. The win brings King's record to 3-0 in league and 12-5 overall. King Continues League Wins with Victory10/9/07 - King continued their league success with a 17-8 win over the Rams at Ramona High School. Lead by Josh Ciupek with five goals and Kenneth Appel with nine saves the Wolves brought their record to 2-0 in league and 11-5 overall. King Opens League With Win10/4/07 - Starting the league season with a win over visiting La Sierra, the boys water polo team, lead by Tyson Hutton with five goals, take a 1-0 record into the next league game against Ramona.
Wolves Fall to Royal9/14/07 - Hosting the Riverside Poly Tournament, King lost their first game to Royal 8-16. Playing strong for the Wolves was Adrian Parra who scored five goals in the loss. Wolves Beat Broncos9/12/07 - The boys water polo team hosted Vista Murrieta and beat them 15-3 The team was lead by Frank Sugden with four goals and Tyson Hutton who had five assists. Kenneth Appel had ten saves in the cage. The JV team won, but the F/S suffered their first defeat. The Wolves next game is Thursday when they host a pool in the Riverside Poly Tournament and play Royal at 4:40. Wolves Blast Past Mustangs9/7/07 - The boys water polo team handled Roosevelt in the season opening home game beating them 19-2. The team was lead by Levi Eastwood and Tyson Hutton with four goals each. The JV and the Frosh/Soph teams also won. Boys Start Season With Strong Scrimmage9/5/07 - The boys water polo team started their 2007 campaign with a strong showing against Temecula Valley. While the score was not kept, it was obvious to all that King controlled all aspects of the game. Season Starts Today With Scrimmage Against Temecula Valley9/4/07 - Today marks the opening of the 2007 season with a home scrimmage against Temecula Valley. Be sure to come to King and cheer your team on.
